How to search in Janusmed
It is possible to search on drug substance names for one or more medicines.
- Enter 5 characters in the search field. In the drop-down list, select the drug substance you want information about (quick command “tab” to go directly down the list and then press enter).
- Remove a selected drug substance from the list by pressing the red cross “Clear search”.
- If you don’t find the drug substance you are looking for, here is an index of all substances included in Janusmed Sex and Gender.
At least five characters are required in the search field. The more characters entered, the more accurate matches are displayed in the list.
Please note that the drop-down list only shows substances that are included in one or more of the knowledge databases in Janusmed. If you type a name in the search field that is not in Janusmed, it will not appear in the drop-down list and is then also not searchable.
Substance names are marked with an ‘s‘ after the name in the drop list. If you do not find the medicine you are looking for, try searching by substance name. Updates to the current product range in Swedish Information Services for Medicines (Sil) occur continuously, but there is a certain delay compared to the updates in Sil.
